A fintech from Mauritius.
ShiftxPay is a Bank of Mauritius licensed payments company, built for families and businesses moving money across borders.
— Our story
Cross-border money should be as simple as a text message.
ShiftxPay started with a familiar frustration — sending money home from abroad meant slow rails, hidden FX markup, and receipts that never quite added up. We built ShiftxPay to fix that for the people closest to us first, and then for the businesses that pay across the same borders every day.
The result is one Mauritius-licensed account that moves money to bank accounts and mobile wallets — at the mid-market rate, with every fee shown before you confirm, and a delivery alert the moment the funds land.
— What we do
One account. Two audiences.
Send money home to family across 40+ countries — to bank accounts, mobile wallets, or cash pickup. Or run the same account as a business, paying overseas suppliers, contractors and staff in batch or one transfer at a time.
Same rail, same rate, same reconciliation. Personal or business — you only learn one ShiftxPay.
— Regulated
Regulated as a financial institution in Mauritius.
ShiftxPay is authorised and supervised by the Bank of Mauritius. Identity, sanctions, and source-of-funds checks run on every account and every transfer — by design, not as a bolt-on.
Customer funds are safeguarded in segregated accounts at Mauritian banks, the platform is built to ISO 27001 and PCI DSS standards, and we publish what we are doing as the regulator requires.
— Where
Headquartered in Port Louis.
Our team operates out of Port Louis, Mauritius — Mauritian hours, Mauritian compliance, and a payments licence held by a Mauritian-incorporated entity. Our customers reach across Africa, Asia, the Indian Ocean rim, and Europe.
We support both English and French in the product and in customer care.
